Wedding was produced in Colombia while portraying Mexico as the story’s setting.
Through carefully selected locations, production design and visual details, the Colombian environment was transformed into a believable Mexican backdrop, allowing the story to unfold without calling attention to the geographical substitution.
The project highlights Colombia’s ability to serve as a highly adaptable production double, combining diverse locations, experienced crews and strong production infrastructure to recreate international settings with authenticity.
The result is a film that feels distinctly Mexican on screen, while being entirely brought to life through production in Colombia.
